AAT at BTI - all what you need to know?
The AAT course is a British professional qualification recognised intentionally and approved by the Bahrain Ministry of labour.
The course is of three years (approximate) duration, comprising three levels:
- Foundation: 2 Terms
- Intermediate: 2Terms
- Technician: 2 Terms

Fees include all tuition, course notes and handouts, AAT registration fees, exam and simulation costs.Each course in 34 week long, composed of two terms of 17 weeks during each.
Each day starts at 8:00 and continues until 15:25 hours. In addition, number of exams and simulation (special practical exams) are set by the Association of Accounting Technicians which will require additional hours where appropriate.
Total course hours are approximately 300.
Please not that level is also a complete course in its own right. A certificate is awarded by AAT on successful completion of all the units at each level.

On completion of the full AAT qualification, the candidate is then entitled to attach the letters “MAAT” to his name, and enter the British Chartered Accounts examinations at Stage 2.
Those companies paying the Training Levy to the Ministry of Labor, are eligible to apply for repayment for the Ministry on Completion of the course.

Refunding Policy
Please note that in case of cancellation after the start of term the cost per term shall be payable to the institute. In case of cancellation before the beginning of the term then an administration charge of BD 50/- shall be paid.
